Major news for Honor Credit Union this morning as CEO Scott McFarland reveals expansion plans into downtown Kalamazoo with a new branch right in the heart of the community’s central business district.
The Berrien Springs-based credit union announced plans this morning to advance their presence in the Kalamazoo market with a new site at 148 East Michigan Avenue, literally steps away from Radisson Plaza Hotel at Kalamazoo Center and within walking distance of many downtown restaurants and businesses. McFarland and his team love that the energetic atmosphere which the downtown area provides a perfect setting for the innovative credit union to showcase a new location concept that complements and enhances member’s digital account access options and virtual interactions.
McFarland says, “The energy of downtown Kalamazoo is infectious, and we can’t wait to be a part of it.” He adds, “We’re excited to deepen our investment in a growing community while bringing solutions for financial success to this vibrant neighborhood.”
Plans for the new location are currently under design and the Honor team is optimistic that doors will open early fall of 2019.
