Honor CU to Relocate South Haven Branch

Honor Credit Union members in search of ways to reward themselves for saving money will soon love the site of their new branch facility in the South Haven neighborhood. After taking care of business with the credit union tellers, they can get some instant gratification by heading directly across the street for a bit of ice cream from the famous Sherman Dairy Bar.  The Honor team is moving locations in the South Haven market in order to achieve upgrades not possible a their current site, and the ability to provide drive-thru lanes and more.

The Honor Credit Union South Haven branch is moving. South Haven area members can soon look forward to a more accessible branch with upgrades that have not been possible at the existing branch location, including drive-thru lanes, a drive-up ATM and a night drop. Credit Union authorities recently completed the purchase of property at 72133 C.R. 388 just across the street from Sherman Dairy Bar and next to Hannapel Home Center.

Aiming for a 2017 completion date, the Honor Credit Union team is keeping the member experience and the needs of the South Haven community in mind as branch design begins. In addition to a more convenient location to conduct financial business, the new branch will be able to provide the community with Saturday drive-thru hours.

Honor Credit Union will continue to keep members and the community informed of progress and will release additional information including an estimated timeline and drafts of the branch design as those things become available and are confirmed. Meanwhile, the existing branch building located at 749 Phillips Street will remain a retail branch until the C.R. 388 location is completed.
