Visit South Haven is encouraging couples to head to the area for Valentine’s Day, offering a special bundle deal to those who stay overnight.
Visit South Haven Director Jennifer Sistrunk tells us the Valentine’s Day Date Night Bundle is any couple’s chance to experience a getaway in one of Southwest Michigan’s most romantic communities by staying in one of six hotels or B&Bs.
“That include the Carriage House at the Harbor, Historic Hotel Nichols, Inn at the Park Bed and Breakfast, Martha’s Vineyard Bed and Breakfast, Shores Vacation Rentals, and Victoria Resort Bed and Breakfast,” Sistrunk said. “If you stay at any of those properties between February 12 and 15, you will get a bundle.”
So, what’s in the bundle?
“Ice skating passes for the South Haven Ice Rink that also includes rentals, two tickets to the Michigan Theater, and a $25 dining voucher to use at one of the participating restaurants.”
When travelers book a stay with one of the six participating lodging partners, they’ll get that deal.
Sistrunk says the winter truly is a romantic time in South Haven.
“In the winter, it’s nice and peaceful. You get to enjoy the downtown. We like to say it’s almost like a Hallmark movie. You see those Hallmark movies with the snow-covered streets, the small town charm, the small town shopping, ice skating, a cozy movie, hometown movie theater that plays a lot of really great movies that are newly released. It’s one of my favorite places to go. And then a handful of awesome restaurants to choose from, too.”
