There are distinct advantages to business enterprises certified to be woman-owned, and the route to finding that certification is winding through the Small Business Services team at Cornerstone Alliance. They will join forces with the Small Business Administration next month to present a free webinar on the special requirements to earn that certification.
The Cornerstone Alliance Small Business Services team will host the free webinar "How to Become a Women Owned Business" on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at the Cornerstone Alliance offices at 38 W. Wall Street in downtown Benton Harbor from 1:00pm to 2:00pm. Based on limited space, the first 25 people who make their reservation are welcome to bring their own lunch and those who will not be at the Cornerstone offices are welcome to dial in remotely from their computer www.connectmeeting.att.com. Just select meeting number: 888 858 2144 and utilize the proper Access Code of 7790762. Simply log in as a 'participant.' Participants can also log in from their phone by dialing 888-858-2144.
This free webinar presented by the Small Business Administration is for women business owners to learn about increasing opportunities for women entrepreneurs in the federal contracting arena. The SBA's Women-Owned Small Business Federal Contract Program presents an opportunity for small businesses to increase their presence in the federal marketplace. The federal government is the largest buyer of goods and services in the world.
This webinar provides an overview of the opportunities and eligibility requirements.
