Many are casting an eager eye as they drive back and forth on Glenlord Road, anticipating the opening of the Intalia Restaurant at the old site of the legendary Glenlord Restaurant & Pizzeria.
New Owner Aravind Ale is carefully crafting his plans for the new eatery, which will marry Indian and Italian fare, as well as resurrecting the popular large banquet and event facility. Ale tells us he’s been hiring, but still needs some key staffers to open the doors–hopefully at the end of this month.
We’re thrilled to share that INTALIA Restaurant is opening late September! We can’t wait to welcome the community and begin this exciting new chapter.
The target is the end of September for a Soft opening. We will have a Grand Opening after 2 weeks of soft opening… maybe around 26 th or 27 th of September for Soft opening.
To start, we’ll launch with a smaller menu and expand in phases as we grow the right team. Right now, we’re focused on hiring and building a strong foundation. Our current openings include:
- Bar & Restaurant Manager
- Cooks (multiple positions)
- Waiting & Catering Staff

Ale told us the reaction to his plan to offer a dual Indian/Italian specialty restaurant has been met with almost universally positive reaction since MOTM story revealed the plan in July.
Intalia is already organized and licensed to host private parties in the Event Space, and several successful gatherings have already taken place there.
