Accomplishments
I was previously a prime member of the pharmacy team for the Marie Yeager Cancer Center. I have also worked with a leading team at Meijer, which is also the top pharmacy within the region and has been recognized as the #1 Pharmacy in the area multiple times. Most recently, while still moonlighting as a pharmacy technician, I am working with Wagner Family Funerals as a Funeral Director Resident Trainee.

What else do you hope to accomplish by the age of 40?
I hope to continue to help families and patients throughout some of the most difficult times of their lives, while also guiding the next generation to be compassionate and educate the ones who trust us with their care.

What’s the best advice you ever got?
A middle school teacher of mine would say when someone asked how he was doing, he’d say “Great! Better than yesterday and not as good as tomorrow.” It shows that each day is better than the next, as long as you make it better.

Who inspires you most?
Marie Curie for her remarkable advances in chemistry and medicine, all while breaking through barriers as a woman of science.

That one thing about you we’d be most surprised to learn.
Something that people may be surprised to learn about me is that I played percussion in middle and high school band.

What do you love to do in your downtime?
I enjoy spending time with my husband and my dogs, as well as cooking.

What book are you reading now?
Leaders Eat Last by Simon Sinek

Volunteer activity you love the most.
I enjoy helping the community while also participating in fun events; most recently the annual french toast breakfast for The Eva Martin Project.

What motivates you to give back to your community?
My motivation to giving back to the community is being able to help others that may have less than yourself and showing them the compassion that it is ok to ask for help and that everyone deserves respect, regardless of their situation.

What Superpower would you most love to have?
I would love to have the ability of teleportation so I could travel anywhere in seconds.

What would you like to leave behind as your legacy once you are gone?
I would like to leave behind the spark of learning new skills while remembering to never give up, even when you feel like stopping.

What does the honor of being named to the 40 Under 40 most mean to you?
This incredible honor means that I have made a positive impact within my community and I will continue to create an impression on others with care and grace.
