Journeyman Sets the Stage for Spring Artisan Market at Three Oaks

The team at Journeyman Distillery in Three Oaks has been celebrating the art of making for nearly ten years now, and with spring in the air, they have curated an amazing group of makers for this year’s Journeyman Distillery Spring Artisan Market.

The popular Three Oaks distillery says that since 2012 they’ve been celebrating the art of making with a wide variety of the best of the best local and handcrafted goods — from the featured art, accessories, and gourmet goods, to the organic grain-to-bottle spirits that go into each cocktail they craft.

A total of 70 carefully selected vendors will fill Journeyman’s historic Featherbone Corset Factory’s refurbished, industrial event spaces for the seasonal 2-day market. Returning artisans will be joined by many who will be participating for the first time.

Journeyman Event Sales Manager, Dan Breen, says, “We are springing back into action with interesting new makers and tried and true favorites,” and adds, “We celebrate creativity and are so happy to support and share these artists with our community.”

The 2021 Spring market will feature, among other things:

  • Handmade jewelry
  • Ceramics
  • Wearable art
  • Health and beauty items
  • Photography
  • Home decor
  • Paper goods
  • Gourmet food
  • Much more to surprise and delight

The event’s layout and scale invites interaction and conversation between makers and customers that help to make the experience truly one-of-a-kind.

Another tasty feature of Journeyman’s Artisan Market is the festive food and drink offerings being teed up by the Journeyman team. Cocktails, as well as small plate items, can be purchased from the convenient Warren Hall bar. House-made donuts, served fresh and topped creatively are always a perennial favorite. Visitors wanting to make a day of it can compare purchases over a meal at Journeyman’s Staymaker Restaurant and even add on an educational distillery tour.

This year they are also running their Welter’s Folly Big Cup Putting event on Saturday April 10th from 12:00PM-6:00PM.

That team putting competition offers lots of ways to play (and win) with 9” cups. The $40 entry fee, for your team of two, includes a $10 Staymaker gift card and 2 commemorative Pro V1 golf balls. $5 from each entry goes toward a skins game, with another $5 going toward a Closest to the Pin competition. Cash prizes will be awarded for the top 3 scores, plus a little something for last place. You can bring your own putter or use theirs.

There is something for everyone to do to celebrate Spring at the Journeyman Distillery Spring Artisan Market which will be held on Saturday, April 10th from 10:30am-to-7:00pm and Sunday April 11th from 10:00am-to-5:00pm ET. All ages are welcome and admission is free. Food and drink will be available for purchase.
