We hear virtually every day about the need for a skilled work force. We hear about the skills gap. We hear that employers can't find the people they are looking for. Meanwhile, those seeking jobs sometimes scratch their heads in wonderment trying to figure out just what it will take to get a high skilled top wage kind of job. Fortunately, Team Kinexus is ready to help you sort through all sides of that equation with a session about specific training opportunities.
The Kinexus crew will present information about high demand occupations and industries and various training opportunities in Southwest Michigan in a session thihs Wednesday, August 10th at 2:30 p.m. at the Kinexus Training Center, located at 499 West Main Street in Benton Harbor.
The session will focus on the different types of training that are available in Michigan's Great Southwest that can lead to sustainable employment with quality companies looking for people eager to learn and earn. Talent Development Specialists will be on hand during the mid-week session to answer your questions about possible funds to cover the cost of training as well as specific labor market information. Currently enrolled college students are also encouraged to attend, as they might find the session to be extremely valuable to their intended career.
