After 14 years in business, the owners of La Pita Restaurant in St. Joseph have announced the sale of the popular eatery.
In a message to customers posted Friday night on social media, the owners thanked the community for its support and friendship over the years, saying they are closing one chapter and looking forward to what comes next.
“We want to express our gratitude for the support and the connections we’ve made in this community,” the statement read. “Your kindness has been appreciated, and we will miss our time here.”
The Mediterranean-style restaurant has been a mainstay on St. Joseph’s dining scene, known for its fresh dishes and loyal following. The owners said new management will be taking over, though details about the new operators or their plans for the space have not yet been released.
They also hinted that “something special” is in the works, encouraging customers to stay tuned for future updates.
La Pita is located at 2019 Niles Road in St Joseph.
