Lake Michigan Catholic SCENE Auction Goes Virtual in 34th Annual Event

Since we’re all relegated to the living room or den these days anyway, and forced to live vicariously through our video screens, we might as well take advantage of an opportunity offered up by the crew at Lake Michigan Catholic Schools to take part in their Annual S.C.E.N.E. Auction which, like seemingly everything else, has gone virtual this year.

The 34th Annual S.C.E.N.E. Auction from Lake Michigan Catholic kicks off in an online format this Sunday, November 22nd and will run until Sunday, December 6th featuring nearly 1,000 items from many local businesses.

Ordinarily the annual event is a grand, in-person event, filled with fun, camaraderie, and spirited bidding each April. Unfortunately, the pandemic has precluded that from happening.

You will be able to browse, bid on, and buy items from gift baskets to gift certificates, from toys and decorator items to a whole host of opportunities and experiences all complete with secure online shopping, online payment, and safe local pick-up. Even if there’s nothing on the docket that fits your wants or needs, you will have the opportunity to help the local Catholic school system through an online donation option.

S.C.E.N.E. has stood for the past 33 years for Strong Catholic Education Needs Everyone, and its true in this 34th year perhaps moreso than ever before.
