Registrations are now being taken for more than a dozen summer camps hosted by Lake Michigan College, offering hands-on experience in technology, the arts, and athletics.
LMC says camps will take place on the college’s Benton Harbor campus, and the college urges families to register early as space is limited.
The popular Fab Lab camps will return with options designed to blend creativity and technology.
In the new Soldering Art Summer Camp, participants will learn to safely use a soldering iron while creating handmade jewelry pieces to take home. Another new offering, Airbrush Art and Design, gives middle school students the chance to experiment with professional airbrush tools to create custom T-shirts and canvas art. There will also be tech-centered camps, performing arts camps, and volleyball camps.
A full list of them and registration information is available on the Lake Michigan College website.
