Kim LaSata already has a cool glass nameplate for her new desk in the Michigan Senate thanks to the man who preceded her in Michigan’s 21st District. John Proos made the presentation tonight at the Shadowland Ballroom on Silver Beach in announcing LaSata’s victory over Democrat Ian Haight.

LaSata in turn introduced the new State Representative from the 79th District, Pauline Wendzel who earned her victory over Democrat Joey Andrews.

Both women thanked their large extended families, campaign staffs and the public for the trust placed in them as they head to Lansing to take up their new roles in the Michigan Legislature.

LaSata replaces the term-limited Proos, and Wendzel takes LaSata’s place as she moves to the upper chamber.
