‘the Lilac Loft is calling it a day at its 418 State Street location, with other life priorities taking precedence, according to an announcement this week from owner Denise Santos:
The Lilac Loft will be closing permanently at the end of July. Our last day open will be Sunday, July 27.

No, it’s not about the St. Joe parking situation, although that didn’t help.I recently got married and would like to dedicate more time to my new family, including my new 10 year old step daughter. I also moved an hour away, which will make it difficult to work my other full time job and continue to run the shop. It has been a difficult decision, but family comes first.If anyone is interested in the shop space, please reach out, I would be happy to provide you with more information. It’s a great location right in downtown St. Joe!After we close on July 27, we will be selling off most of the furniture and other items in our shop. Look for posts about that or reach out if you are interested in any items.We have truly appreciated everyone who has come into our shop, purchased candles and gifts, made candles in our workshop, or just stopped by to say hello.If you haven’t stopped by to shop or make a candle, now is the time! You have until July 27!
