A 5-year veteran in real estate sales in Michigan’s Great Southwest garnered top honors from her colleagues at the Southwestern Michigan Association of Realtors recently as the 2020 Realtor of the Year in our region.
Lisa Wright, a licensed salesperson with RE/MAX Modern Realty, Inc. in Niles, was named the 2020 REALTOR of the Year for the Southwestern Michigan Association of Realtors at their Annual Recognition Luncheon held recently at the Hilton Garden Inn in Benton Harbor.
Lisa has been licensed since 2015 and holds the professional designation Accredited Buyer Representative and the Pricing Strategy Advisory certification.
Lisa also recently completed the newly launched National Association of Realtors program of Commitment to Excellence (C2EX). While that is neither a designation nor an official certification, it empowers Realtors to demonstrate their professionalism and commitment to conducting their business at the highest standards. The award-winning C2EX Program takes professionalism to the next level by enabling the member to assess their expertise in elements of professionalism, ranging from customer service to the use of technology.
Wright is very active in the Realtor’s Association. She currently serves on the Association’s Board of Directors as District 2 Director, which covers Buchanan, Niles, Berrien Springs, and Eau Claire. Since 2017, Lisa has served on the Equal Opportunity Committee and was Committee Chair in 2019. She also serves on the Professional Standards Committee and previously served on the Public Relations Committee.
In her local community, Lisa is a member of the Southwest Michigan Landlord’s Association, and volunteers many hours at the Southwest Community Action Agency. She sponsors the Brandywine Girls Basketball program to help with new uniforms and other expenses and has served food at the Salvation Army Soup Kitchen in Niles.
Looking for ways to improve her community, Wright sponsored the 2019 Placemaking Grant from the SWMI Realtors Association for the Ruff and Tumble Dog Park. She is a resident of Niles.
