It's only appropriate that a classic retailer like Martin's Super Markets would offer up a classic car show, and we all are the beneficiary of that great combination early next month. Martin's Super Markets' Stevensville store will host a Classic & Antique Car Cruise-In on Tuesday, October 4th — an event that is free to both exhibitors and the public at large.
In addition to classic and antique vehicles on display, and music of the 50s and 60s provided by Les Fairbanks, a dancing exhibition will be provided by The Village Squares. Also on hand will be various craft activities, a cake walk, and the opportunity to decorate a book bag with the Lincoln Township Library volunteer team.
Martin's themselves will host a Cookout for a Cause during the auto show, with donations benefiting United Way of Southwest Michigan. You can get a hot dog, chips and a beverage for just $2-bucks or a hot dog & drink alone for just a dollar.
If you plan to showcase a car, please call Lisa Micunek in advance at 269-556-2030 for planning purposes.
The Classic & Antique Car Show is also sponsored in part by 1st Source Bank with a branch in the Martin's lobby.
The Martin's Super Markets chain was founded in 1947 and currently boasts 22 stores in Northern Indiana and Southwest Michigan.
Make plans to join the fun on Tuesday, October 4th at 5637 Cleveland Avenue in Stevensville.
