The guys at Working Zombie Studios in Benton Harbor might have the muscle for a job that the Michigan Lottery is issuing RFPs for today. There are guys at MailMax on Plaza Drive who do this kind of work, too. For that matter, teams at Holt+Bosse, JohnsonRauhoff, Aisle Rocket Studios or Two Piers Interactive in St. Joseph may all have the skill base necessary to fill the bill.
The Michigan Lottery has issued a request for proposal to develop and maintain Lottery web and mobile applications.
In an effort to continue providing a first-class online experience for players, the Lottery is seeking a vendor to help develop a faster mobile application that is easier to use. The Lottery expects an updated mobile application will offer players notifications, enhanced loyalty features and more.
Vendors interested in submitting a proposal should visit http://bit.ly/RFP_APP. The deadline to submit proposals is Sept. 26, 2016. Here's a hot link to that application process:
The Lottery’s request for proposals calls for an initial contract of four years, with the option of up to four annual renewals.
About 97 cents of every dollar spent on Lottery tickets is returned to the state in the form of contributions to the state School Aid Fund, prizes to players and commissions to retailers. In the 2015 fiscal year, the Lottery’s contribution to Michigan’s public schools was $795.5 million. Since it began in 1972, the Lottery has contributed more than $19.6 billion to education in Michigan.
