Our late winter run-in with the snowman won’t even begin to stop the proceedings this weekend at the official start of the 2017 boating season. Regardless of weather that season always begins with the annual Wolf’s Marine and Wolf’s Diver’s Supply Open House which happens this year on the upcoming weekend of Saturday and Sunday, March 18th and 19th.
The early warm weather experienced in Michigan’s Great Southwest through much of February got everyone’s outboard running and ready to celebrate the launch of the season at 250 W. Main Street in downtown Benton Harbor. It’s a tradition that dates back for decades now, and you can begin the season in your own way with a visit to the huge Open House which will be showcased on Saturday from 9:00am until 5:00pm, and Sunday from 12 noon until 5:00pm.
The Wolf family and employees have been making the water fun for boaters and divers at one of the Midwest’s largest marine accessory stores for decades. Their 50,000 square foot retail store covers an entire city block and houses just about everything to have fun on or in the water.
