
In Southwest Michigan, nothing says “Autumn” quite like the harvesting of fully ripened crops and plump fruits. In preparation and celebration of this plentiful season the Harbor Country Chamber of Commerce and Criterion Productions is hosting the New Buffalo Harvest Fest on Saturday, October 11 from noon to 9:00 p.m. The festival will take place in downtown New Buffalo along Whittaker Street between Merchant and Mechanic Streets.
Representing all that the season has to offer, the Harvest Fest boasts an abundance of family-friendly activities including nonstop live music, unique art and makers vendors, farm market vendors, award-winning wines from Southwest Michigan, local beer and hard selzers, tasty fare from area restaurants and food trucks, pumpkin painting, kid’s games, dancing and MORE! There is truly something for everyone so bring the entire family!
Live music includes Rick King’s Royal Hustle (7:00 p.m.), The Edgar Willbury Ex-perience (5:00p.m.) The Back Ups (3:00pm) Johnny V (1:15pm) and Intonation (12:15p.m.)
Planned over Indigenous Peoples Day weekend for those with an extended 3-day week-end, the New Buffalo Harvest Fest will serve as a focal-point in downtown New Buf-falo.
