A new year will bring updated hours at the Krasl Art Center in St. Joseph.

The Krasl says starting in January, it will be open Tuesday through Friday from 1 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The center will be closed on Sundays and Mondays.

The Krasl says the new hours will allow for increased evening access, making it easier for visitors to experience exhibitions, programs, and events after work.

Director Tami Fauver says new hours will allow for streamlined operations, make it easier for the museum to meet the needs of students, and help it be open to the public. She says they’re imaging people coming to the Krasl for date nights, after dinner out, or on a weeknight when they are looking for something inspiring to do.

Everyone’s invited to the Krasl in the new year to explore, engage, and be inspired through the visual arts.
