South Bend International Airport is announcing year-round, nonstop flight options to Ft. Lauderdale from one of their resident airlines.
Officials said the new route from SBN to Fort Lauderdale/Miami via Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) will begin August 29, 2025. They will operate on Mondays and Fridays, especially heavy traffic days for travelers leaving on or returning from cruises out of Fort Lauderdale and nearby Miami.
SBN officials say they’re thrilled to announce Allegiant Travel’s decision.
“This flight gives our community the much-requested nonstop access to the southeast side of Florida including Miami and West Palm Beach,” said Mike Daigle, South Bend International Airport’s CEO and executive director.
Airport officials added the airline will offer one-way fares for as low as $59, subject to change and limitations.
