New Professional Certifications Awarded to Staff Members at Professional Hearing Services

Professional Hearing Services in St. Joseph is spotlighting new professional certifications awarded to two of its staff members.  Dr. Mitch Kissick and Julie Duensing, President of Professional Hearing Services, have received Lyric certification. They will work alongside Dr. Terry McIlvaine who has been a Lyric provider since it was first introduced over 14 years ago.  Dr. Kasewurm’s Professional Hearing Services is one of only a few premier Lyric providers in the state of Michigan.

Lyric is one of the foremost providers of hearing devices in the industry.  Lyric hearing devices completely disappear from sight once inside the ear, and can be worn continuously for months at a time. These benefits come in part from the unique placement of Lyric in the ear canal, close to the eardrum and farther away from elements like wind and rain. The deep placement means Lyric is totally invisible and can use the ear’s own anatomy to funnel sound naturally.  In a survey, 88% of Lyric users agreed that Lyric comes close to giving them their natural hearing back.

Dr. Kasewurm’s Professional Hearing Services says that as happy as Lyric wearers are with the device’s aesthetic advantages and exceptional sound quality, they are even happier with the effortless hearing that Lyric offers. Lyric is worn 24/7, so it performs around the clock during activities such as talking on the phone, sleeping, exercising, and even showering for months at a time without any battery changes.  When the device needs replacing, Lyric wearers simply return to their hearing professional’s office for a short visit.
