New Sonic Sensation Traveling Exhibit to Debut at Curious Kids’ Discovery Zone

Curious Kids’s Discovery Zone fans are gearing up to make some noise…but it’s all in the name of science. Officials at the Zone tell us an exciting new exhibit is coming to the Gast Traveling Exhibit Gallery at the Curious Kids’ Discovery Zone Sound off in September at the Curious Kids’ Discovery Zone! Kids and adults alike can see, feel and hear sound at “Sonic Sensation!”

It’s everyone’s chance to discover the awesome science of sound at the Curious Kids’ Discovery Zone with the new traveling exhibit “Sonic Sensation.” Sound waves are all around us, and this exhibit helps us learn all about sound in fun and exciting ways. Visitors can sort pitches on a turntable or mix a soundtrack, create sound waves in a tube, and match mystery sounds.

Sonic Sensation even has a “Scream Chamber.” In order to get ready for the exciting new exhibit, the Curious Kids’ Discovery Zone will be closed September 6th through September 9th to install this engaging, new exhibit. Then, gather up the family and plan to come make some noise when Curious Kids’ Discovery Zone re-opens on Thursday, September 13th for Family Fun Night and half price admission.

The Museum admission of $6.00 per person for each Curious Kids’ location, or $10.00 for joint admission to both museums on the same day includes all family programs. Curious Kids’ Museum, located at 415 Lake Blvd. in St. Joseph, is open Monday thru Saturday, 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.; and on Sundays, 10:00 am to 4pm. Members and those under the age of one year are admitted free at Curious Kids’ Museum.

Curious Kids’ Discovery Zone in the Silver Beach Center, located at 333 Broad St. in St. Joseph, MI is open Monday-Saturday, 10:00 am to 5:00 pm., and on Sundays, 12:00 noon to 5 pm.

Members and those under the age of three years are free at the Curious Kids’ Discovery Zone.

Curious Kids’ Museum is a nonprofit organization. As they tell it, “This interactive, hands-on playground for the mind fulfills its educational leadership role by stimulating curiosity, awareness and life preparedness in the areas of Science, History, Culture and Technology.
