Niles High School will be hosting a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate its new synthetic turf field next Thursday, Nov. 17.
The project began this summer, and the district used a combination of local donations, sponsors and capital funds to pay for the field.
The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m., with the facility remaining open until 6 p.m. for an open viewing. The event is open to the public.
