North Pier’s Beers & Cheers to Benefit Curious Kids’ Museum

With a house filled with kids of his own, it’s little wonder that North Pier Brewing Company owner Jay Fettig loves to support the Curious Kids’ Museum, and he’ll be back at it soon with the 2nd Annual Beers & Cheers event, benefiting the popular St. Joseph museum targeted to families and kids.

Coming Thursday, January 30th, from 6-9 pm, the event is a sure-fire way to beat the winter blues at the popular North Pier Brewing Company. It’s an opportunity for you to grab some friends and meet up for a fun, casual evening of mouthwatering appetizers provided by the North Shore Inn and delicious North Pier Brewing libations, all while supporting the Curious Kids’ Museum.

Those who attended last year call it a perfect prescription to knock out the winter doldrums. In fact, last year’s event sold out and tickets are limited, so you’ll want to reserve your spot now. Donated by North Pier Brewing Company and North Shore Inn, the tickets are $40 each and include one drink token and access to the appetizer buffet. You can make right now at curiouskidsmuseum.org.

Meanwhile, the museum admission of $6.00 per person for each Curious Kids’ location, or $10.00 for joint admission to both museums on the same day includes all daily family programs. You will find Curious Kids’ Museum, located at 415 Lake Boulevard in St. Joseph open every Wednesday thru Saturday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm; and from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on Sundays. Members and those under the age of one year are free at Curious Kids’ Museum.

Curious Kids’ Discovery Zone in the Silver Beach Center, located at 333 Broad Street in St. Joseph, is open Thursday evenings from 4:00-8:30 pm at the reduced admission rate of $3.00 per person; Friday and Saturday, from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm; and from noon to 5:00 pm on Sundays. Members and those under the age of three years are free at the Curious Kids’ Discovery Zone.

Curious Kids’ Museum is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, with the mission of: “Curious Kids’ Museum and Curious Kids’ Discovery Zone inspire children to explore and learn through cooperative, hands-on play.”
