A bit of midwestern small town commerce is going to be fading into history on M-139. Parritt’s Trading Post is calling it quits! The longtime owners told their customers on social media:

This decision has not been easy, but we feel it is the right time for us to step back and embark on new adventures. we are offering a 45% discount on all tools in our store. We are also excited to announce that we will continue to buy jewelry, gold, silver, and firearms as an FFL dealer. Our commitment to providing fair and honest transactions remains unchanged. Parritt’s has sold a variety of new and pre-owned merchandise. No timetable for the closure was announced.
