It only happens one night a year, but what a night it is. Passersby actually have been known to pull into the lot just to see what the heck is going on when Joe and Mary Ann Pater host their annual Ladies Night celebration between Thanksgiving and Christmas. This year’s extraordinaire is slated for next Wednesday, November 29th, from 5pm until 8pm at their Pater True Value Hardware store at the Scottdale crossroads in Royalton Township, and the parking lot ends up being packed from end to end.
The one night affair features promotional sale items, product demonstrations, prize giveaways, cider, non-alcoholic Spumante, food and fun. As a bonus discount, all ladies earn a 10-percent discount off of any regularly priced merchandise in the entire store. Pater True Value can be found at 4032 M-139 in St. Joseph, where M-139 and Miners Road come together.
The first 300 ladies admitted to Ladies Night will receive a complimentary gift bag including wine tasting coupons at St. Julian Wineries and more.
A whole host of in-store vendors will offer up product prizes, there will be appetizers from local restaurants, and all non-sale Christmas items will be priced at 25-percent off. Additionally, the popular Ms. Margo returns, offering psychic readings, and one lucky winner will walk away from the night with airfare for two to Cancun, Mexico compliments of Travel Leaders and Apple Vacations valued at $1,200.00. Also on the block, to one winner will be a pair of tickets to a Detroit Pistons NBA game courtesy of Pratt/Lambert Paints.
The event is a ladies only affair, and is adults only, so no children will be admitted.
