In it’s original life, The Box Factory for the Arts in St. Joseph was home to a prolific manufacturer of paper boxes for some of the largest consumer companies in the nation from Milton Bradley Games to the makers of fine fragrances and well beyond. It was then known as the Williams Brothers Paper Box Factory.
When the arts community acquired the historic building, a major portion of the third floor was an innovation incubation space for Whirlpool Corporation, pressing into action some of the sharpest minds in the industry as they formulated concepts there before running out of space and being forced to move to new quarters.
It became a hot-bed of brilliant marketing ideas for several advertising and public relations agencies until they, too, had grown beyond the boundaries of the space and relocated elsewhere in the community.
Now, that beautifully presented and premier commercial space in a vibrant location a short walk from the city of St. Joseph’s central business district is available for your high energy, creative team looking for an inspirational place to craft the next big thing for your company or a company that you work for.
The Box Factory for the Arts is showcasing some 7,800 square feet of prime open space on the third floor of that historic building along Broad Street, an easy walk to downtown.
The uniquely remodeled space offers common areas for multiple tenants, a full suite of offices, a kitchen, storage space, ample natural lighting from soaring skylights, original exposed wood and brick, vaulted ceilings, generous parking for staff and customers, fast-reliable WiFi, 24-hour access, and much more.
The nearby amenities will meet everyday business, staff and customer needs. The third floor space at The Box has been fully refurbished and is ready for tenant fit-out. The building offers tenants a flexible and modern working environment that can accommodate an open layout or a segmented plan, with abundant parking for staff and visitors alike.
