Renowned Whirlpool Magician to Host United Way Benefit Encore

We’d have to step into the hallways of Whirlpool Corporation headquarters in Benton Harbor to see him work his training magic inside the company, but thanks to his generosity with the United Way of Southwest Michigan, “The Magic of Stuart MacDonald”  will return home to showcase his award-winning talent live in Stevensville next month.

It’s your chance to see Whirlpool’s own world-renowned magician, Stuart MacDonald at the Lakeshore Community Auditorium up close and personal.

By day, Stuart MacDonald is a Senior Training Analyst at Whirlpool, but in his spare time, he’s a famous magician, and thanks to his affiliation with the United Way we can all see his show live on stage on Saturday, October 26th at 6:30 pm at the auditorium located at 5771 Cleveland Avenue in Stevensville, with proceeds benefiting United Way of Southwest Michigan.

The past year and a half has been a busy time for Stuart as he took his acts to various places around the world. In 2017, Stuart attended the qualification round for the World Championships of Magic. It was there that he set a record number of awards in a single competition—five in all.

Shortly thereafter, Stuart was cast on the hit TV show, Penn and Teller’s Fool Us. Again, Stuart rose to the occasion and was able to “fool” the famed magicians/entertainers. Next, Stuart found himself in front of two sold-out crowds at the Winter Gardens, one of the largest theaters in the United Kingdom. With 7,000 in the audience, Stuart wowed with his special creation, “The Unintentional Magician.”

In July of 2018, Stuart represented the United States as the country’s top magician in the World Championships of Magic, held in Busan, Korea. Among the world’s best magicians, he received a standing ovation for his performance. In all, Stuart took 8th place in the world and remains the highest ranked in all of the Americas.

As Stuart’s next adventure awaits, he finds himself filtering through opportunities including TV productions, organized festivals, and theaters seeking talented acts. Having been offered to perform in Beijing, Stuart had to defer the opportunity as he’d already been contacted to share his experiences through the Ted Talks organization and its millions of followers.

You can purchase your tickets right now to experience his family-friendly performance that is sure to entertain everyone. Ticket prices are $15 for adults and $10 for children 12 and under.
