The Lincoln Township Library is getting ready to celebrate the completion of its renovation project, and residents are invited to come and see for themselves.

The library says a ribbon cutting will be held this Saturday at 10 a.m., featuring tours of the improved space, door prizes, face painting, and STEM activities for kids.

The Lincoln Township Library closed in September for the renovation work. It set up shop at a temporary location on Hollywood Road so residents could still receive some services, but that’s now closed ahead of the main location’s reopening.

With the project finished, the library can boast of an expanded meeting room for programs and activities, a digital lab, new shelving, new carpeting, a new fireplace and coffee nook, and ADA-compliant signage.

This Saturday’s grand reopening and ribbon cutting is open to everyone.

The $1.5 million renovation project was about five years in the making.
