Founded and led by Kleiman as Chief Executive Officer, Sapphire + Salt reflects both her extensive professional experience and her growing frustration with traditional healthcare systems.

From Healthcare Consultant to Wellness Founder
Kleiman earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Communications from Grand Valley State University in 1995 and began her career with UnitedHealthcare Group before joining USI Insurance Services. Over nearly three decades, she rose to Senior Vice President, advising major corporations on managing rising healthcare costs.
Throughout her career, she kept returning to one question: What if we could prevent these costs altogether by improving health at its root?
Her transition from consultant to entrepreneur was driven by both industry insight and personal conviction. “Helping one person heal has the potential to spark change in hundreds more,” she said. Her mission is to positively impact one million lives through the belief that health is wealth.
Recently selected for inclusion in Marquis Who’s Who, Kleiman is nationally recognized for her leadership and innovation in healthcare and wellness. She is a certified reiki healer, licensed bioenergetics practitioner, and former president of the Professional Women’s Club.
A Vision Rooted in Community and Legacy
Kleiman credits her success to strong family values and mentors who recognized her potential early on. The financial foundation built during her corporate career has allowed her to fully invest in Sapphire + Salt, which she envisions as both a healing sanctuary and a catalyst for cultural change.
Looking ahead, Kleiman envisions expanding Sapphire + Salt to up to 50 locations nationwide, without franchising, scaling intentionally while preserving the brand’s integrity and soul.
A passionate advocate for hormone health, peptides, regenerative therapies, and women’s leadership in the male-dominated biohacking space, she is committed to redefining what modern wellness looks like.
“Biohacking is beautiful,” she said. “Not just because of the science behind it, but because of the power it gives individuals to reclaim agency over their health.”
Legacy matters deeply to Kleiman, firmly believing health is wealth. Her focus remains on helping build a Medicine 3.0 movement, one that proves true health is within reach if we are willing to rewrite the story.
