Honor Credit Union, in partnership with Data Guardian, is hosting a Free Community Shred Day in St. Joseph. The event will take place at First Church of God in St. Joseph on July 26, from 9:00 AM-11:00AM.
This event is one of 10 Shred Days spanning April through September and provides a convenient, secure way for community members to dispose of sensitive documents. Honor’s Community Shred Days not only help protect against identity theft but also contribute to a greener future by ensuring shredded materials are properly recycled.
The Shredevent will operate as a drive-thru service, where Honor team members will assist in collecting documents for shredding. While shredding will not take place on-site, all materials will be securely transported and destroyed by Honor’s trusted partner, Data Guardian. To ensure efficiency, each household is asked to limit shredding to 10 boxes or bags per event.
By taking advantage of Free Community Shred Days, residents can safely declutter their homes while protecting their personal information and reducing waste in local landfills.
These events are part of Honor Credit Union’s commitment to security, sustainability, and community engagement.
