Recognizing the huge sacrifice made by many small business enterprises over the past year of pandemic shutdowns, restrictions, and other impacts, Michigan State Senator Kim LaSata has announced a new Small Business of the Month award to honor local Southwest Michigan businesses, and is inviting you to nominate your favorites.
LaSata says, “The past year has been difficult for all of us, and particularly for local businesses, which have endured hardship through numerous government orders in response to the coronavirus.” The Bainbridge Township Legislator adds, “My Small Business of the Month award program is one way that we can show our appreciation and highlight these hardworking and dedicated Southwest Michiganders. I look forward to giving them the recognition they deserve.”

District residents wishing to submit a nomination should include the nominee’s name and location and a description of why that nominee deserves an award.
