There will be a new face in charge, day to day, at the St. Joseph Public Schools Foundation, the group that raises money to support a myriad of programs in St. Joseph schools.
Longtime Executive Director Sue Riemland is retiring at the close of the current school year. She’ll be replaced by Jennifer Havlik, according to an announcement from SJPS Foundation President Sam Abdelnour:
“I am pleased to announce that Jennifer Havlik will be the next Executive Director. Jennifer has been a Foundation committee member since 2019. Her passion for our schools and community, along with her experience in project management, budgeting and planning will continue to grow the SJPS Foundation’s mission to raise, steward and distribute resources to enrich the education of students. We are excited to have her on our team!”
