For 65 years, the Southwest Michigan Regional Chamber (and its predecessors) has organized and sponsored a mid-July golf outing and gathering of business people. It’s one of those events that’s evolved over time. For years it was known as the ‘Chamber Steak Fry’ at Riverview Park after a day long golf scramble. When people started eating healthier, it transitioned to a buffet at Harbor Shores Golf Club. In recent years, it’s the 19th Hole After Party, after a day of golf at Lake Michigan Hills.
Whatever they call it, Southwest Michigan’s bushiness community gathers for a well earned day of fellowship, centered on golf, but open to all business people, even if you’ve never picked up a putter!

Get ready to tee off in style at the Southwest Michigan Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Golf Outing.
This year’s event promises an unforgettable day of camaraderie, competition, and networking, all set against the stunning backdrop of Lake Michigan Hills on Monday July 14, 2025.
We are gearing up for our day of sun, fun, and golf during the 65th Annual Golf Outing presented by a lineup of amazing sponsors, including Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, Honor Credit Union, Four Winds Casino, Sturgis Bank & Trust, Indiana Michigan Power (an AEP Company), ABC57 and United Way of Southwest Michigan.
Event Schedule:
- Sponsors check-in starts at 7:00 a.m.
- Golfer check-in starts at 7:30 a.m.
- Shotgun start at 9:00 a.m.
Breakfast: A light breakfast will be provided by Biggby of Saint Joseph, sponsored Horizon Bank.
Lunch: The Clubhouse will have hot dogs, sandwiches, and snacks available for purchase when you make the turn.
19th Hole After Party: Immediately following the Golf Outing, join us for a fantastic 19th Hole After Party sponsored by the Southwestern Michigan Tourist Council featuring a buffet bar, door prizes, networking, cornhole, and more. The price of the 19th Hole is included in your registration, but if you’d like to purchase extra tickets for staff, significant others, friends, etc., they can be bought for $35 each.
