South Haven Center for the Arts Showcases The Ghosts that Linger

South Haven Center for the Arts invites the community to experience The Ghosts that Linger, a juried exhibition exploring memory, nostalgia, and identity. The show features 36 works selected from artists across the country and is on display through Saturday, November 8.

Highlights include:

  • First Place: Coming Home (I know I can never go back) by Annie Hutchins of Mississippi, a quilt made from repurposed fabrics like baby blankets and sheets.

  • Second Place: Two miniature chairs made of found objects by Ronald Gonzalez of New York.

  • Third Place: W.A.I.T., an oil painting by west Michigan artist Kyle Anderson.

Visitors can also view works by three honorable mention winners: Karla Rydrych, Danielle Pagano, and Patrick Miceli.

The Center is located at 600 Phoenix Street, downtown South Haven. Admission is free. Gallery hours:

  • Tues/Wed/Fri/Sat: 11 a.m.–4 p.m.

  • Thurs: 11 a.m.–6 p.m.
