Even as everyone works to find the “next normal” in light of the pandemic, many employers are facing issues they’ve never been forced to even consider before. Striving to keep one’s workforce safe and healthy can be a full-time job in and of itself. Fortunately for employers across Michigan’s Great Southwest, the team at Spectrum Health Lakeland is assembling a tremendous amount of information to help businesses regardless of where they are on the preparedness scale.
The Spectrum Health Lakeland team has released a local employer guide to help community businesses adapt to operating in a new environment with COVID-19. The goal is to equip employers and employees with advice on infection prevention and practical resources to help increase safety and minimize risk.
The hospital system says, “As a health care organization and dedicated community partner ourselves, we strive to educate those we serve about health and wellness. Now, more than ever, businesses are seeking guidance on best practices that support a healthy workplace as we navigate this new landscape. We are pleased to provide this toolkit leveraging our infection prevention expertise to benefit our community.”
The Spectrum Health Lakeland Employer Toolkit consists of the following resources:
- Employer Guide – A foundational primer to help businesses no matter where they are in the process, whether it is navigating reopening to the community, welcoming employees back on-site or adapting to a new environment. The guide includes expert tips, best practices, checklists and ready-to-use signage and more. Request a guide by clicking here: https://lp.assets.spectrumhealthlakeland.org/EmployerGuide
