What was your first job?
Several restaurants in different positions where I was able to hone valuable customer service skills that I utilize today.
Best advice you ever got?
The same people asking why you’re doing it will be asking how you did it. Stay committed to your vision.
Who inspires you most?
My family. I continually learn from each of them to make the best version of myself.
That one thing about you we’d be most surprised to learn.
I am extremely anxious in group setting. Very much a work in progress.
What do you love to do in your downtime?
Audible books. I am a huge Star Wars Fan, and love listening to the different ways the books are brought to life.
What book are you reading now?
Star Wars: Thrawn I love his cunning and expertise as a tactician and how it helps him rise through the military ranks with unprecedented speed.
Volunteer activity you love the most.
Any activity where I can teach. If one person can walk away from our discussion feeling a few found feeling of drive towards financial enlightenment, I consider it a success.
What motivates you to give back to your community?
The joy I see at each closing for a home purchase. The tears of joy, high fives, and overall excitement to begin the next chapter pushes me on to the next.
What Superpower would you most love to have? (for example, the ability to fly or to be invisible, or incredible strength, etc)
For sure time control. There’s never enough time even with a well-balanced schedule.
What would you like to leave behind as your legacy once you are gone?
Two well balanced and morally grounded daughters that are ready to attack life in whichever way they choose.
What does the honor of being named to the 40 Under 40 most mean to you?
I am honored and grateful to be named to the 40 under 40 class of 2023. The impressive members of the prior classes have set high expectations and I plan to continue that tradition by doing my part to relentlessly improve our community for future generations.
