The Southwest Michigan Community Action Agency has announced a record-breaking year for its annual Stuff a Truck event.
In partnership with Y Country Radio and Rogers Foodland, the 2025 event last month collected ten truckloads of non-perishable food and $43,300 in monetary donations.
Southwest Michigan Community Action Agency Community Services Manager Yvonne Vidt says the community truly rallied behind the organization’s food pantry this year, at a time when demand is high.
In addition to the contributions from community members, the SMCAA received a $20,000 matching donation from Wolf Financial Advisory.
SMCAA Director Kim Smith Oldham thanked everyone who helped make the 2025 Stuff a Truck event the most successful in the organization’s history.
