Please provide an example of when you feel you were at your very best in taking action on the job or in your role.
I successfully managed the crowd on opening day — ensuring smooth staff coordination, timely table service, and efficient handling of the waitlist right up to closing time. The experience gave me a strong boost of confidence in my ability to manage crowds of any size effectively.
What’s the funniest thing that ever happened on your road to success?
A customer shared a review with a photo of their half-eaten meal, mentioning that the food was so irresistible they started eating before remembering to take a picture. It made me feel both amused and happy to see that my customers enjoyed the food so much — leaving with full hearts and great moods.
Who most inspires your personal drive for success every day?
My husband is a passionate, hardworking, focused, and incredibly motivating partner. Without his unwavering support, continuing in this business would have been nearly impossible. He is truly my backbone.
What is your best advice to women in Southwest Michigan looking to succeed, as you have, in business?
If you have an idea, put it into action. Begin, and stay committed no matter what challenges come your way.
