The crew at Adams & Son, Inc. of Sodus made a great run, but in the final tally fell short of making it to the People’s Choice finals for the “Coolest Thing Made in Michigan,” in a record turnout year. Their PPE pivot plan during the pandemic is still a huge hit with businesses across the state, but now the balloting resumes for the ultimate Coolest Thing.
A record-breaking 11,000 votes were cast to determine this year’s Top 10 “Coolest Thing Made in Michigan” finalists. Now the final round of voting for the People’s Choice Award hosted by the Michigan Manufacturers Association (MMA) begins next Monday, November 9th.
The “Coolest Thing Made in Michigan” is part of the MMA’s MFG Excellence Awards program which celebrates the contributions manufacturers make to Michigan’s economy and local communities. Round 1 of voting ran from Mon, October 12th, 2020 to Friday, October 23rd, 2020.
Beginning Monday, anyone can vote daily for their favorite Top 10 product at the link http://coolestthing.mimfg.org to determine the “Coolest Thing Made in Michigan.” Voting closes on Friday, November 20, 2020 and the winner will be announced live during the virtual MFG Excellence Awards event in January.
