Tourism Council launches Makers Trail app for the year

The Southwest Michigan’s Makers Trail Passport is now available for the year.

The Southwestern Michigan Tourist Council says the passport is a way to sample beers made all over the region while earning some rewards.

The council launched a new app last year to make the passport process digital, and now they’ve updated the passport app to be more efficient for 2023-24.

The Makers Trail Flight Crew Passport is now available on the Visit Southwest Michigan app. The app automatically tallies each access code and tracks levels for the user.

Because of the reception last year, the Makers Trail will be fully virtual with no paper passports for the first time this year. Printed Makers Trail maps are available at the council’s information center or at participating hotels and Makers Trail locations. You can also download the map.

There are more than 40 Makers Trail locations for this passport season, and rewards for taking part include gift certificates, t-shirts, and hoodies. You can find out more right here.
