State Representative Joey Andrews is planning a public event next week in Benton Harbor to examine data centers and how they could affect Southwest Michigan.

Andrews says the town hall will feature Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel and be held from 6:30 to 8:30 on Thursday, March 26 at a location to be announced the day before.

The event will include panelists discussing topics like environmental impacts, consumer protection, labor considerations, municipal effects, and the role of technology and AI legislation. Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask questions and engage directly with the experts to gain a clear picture of how data centers affect communities and lives.

RSVPs for the data center town hall are being taken now, and space is limited.
