Michigan Works! wants you to know about their upcoming job fair. It’s happening in late February at the group’s Service Center in Benton Harbor.
Mark O’Reilly is the Director of Business Solutions for the organization’s Berrien, Cass, and Van Buren operations and says the events have been a “major success” for Southwest Michigan’s employers and job seekers.
“Throughout 2023, we hosted four hiring events, bringing over 558 job seekers through our doors to meet with over 75 employers. While we know it is a slower season for some industries, others are ramping up and are ready to fill their open positions and I’m confident our hiring events in 2024 will continue to be successful.”
Organizers say individuals who would like to participate should arrive at the job fair interview ready with an updated resume. Jobseekers are encouraged to pre-register their attendance here. The next hiring event is projected to have an estimated 25 employers meeting with candidates. Interested employers should reach out to Michael Mompremier at Michigan Works! for more information.
The event will take place on Wednesday, February 28 from 10:00 am- 2:00 pm at the Michigan Works! Service Center, located at 499 West Main Street in Benton Harbor.
