Thousands of beachgoers and boaters converged on the shores of St. Joseph this weekend to enjoy the summer weather and watch the annual fireworks on Lake Michigan. Watch as attendees cheer and honk their boat horns as the colorful spectacle came to a close Sunday night.
Fireworks were launched from the south pier after the sun dipped below the horizon, with an orange sunset glow serving as a backdrop for the explosive celebration.
The display capped of a sunny weekend at the beach and on Lake Michigan for many residents and visitors to the area. Prior to the fireworks, the Southwest Michigan Symphony Orchestra performed a concert at the Shadowland Pavilion in Silver Beach County Park.
