Lemon Creek Winery is planning their annual Vintage Blues Bash on Sunday, July 27th, from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM: an afternoon of blues, wine, food, and summer celebration.
Visitors will spend the day enjoying live music from threetalented blues bands, delicious food truck fare, and Lemon Creek’s award-winning wines, ciders, and wine slushies. Whether you’re a long-time blues lover or simply looking for a great summer outing, the Vintage Blues Bash offers a laid-back, family-friendly vibe and good times for all.
Music Lineup:
🎶 12:00–2:00 PM – Newport Prairie Project: Kicking off the day with an energetic blend of blues, alt-country, and prairie rock. This Harbor Country favorite blends originals and unique spins on deep cuts from your favorite artists.
🎶 2:30–4:30 PM – Bobby Hunt & The Day Drinkers: A three‑piece powerhouse of Michiana blues veterans, the Day Drinkers deliver singer‑guitarist Rob Hutt’s hard‑driving original blues alongside an eclectic mix of classic blues and rock favorites. Rounding out the lineup are Brian Reedstrom (keyboards + electric bass) and Mark Schmid (drums). The band’s nine brand‑new original tracks are now streaming and available for purchase on Apple Music and Spotify.
🎶 5:00–7:00 PM – The Resurrection Blues Band: Born from good times, bad times, and the blues, this powerhouse four-piece is the 2024 Herald-Palladium Readers’ Choice Award winner for Best Local Entertainment and Best Blues Rock Band. Led by local blues guitar favorite Rodney Mills on vocals and guitar, the band features Frank Rotondo on bass—a Chicago-born musician with roots in Paradoxx and the Vegas strip—and Billy Canty, a seasoned Louisiana-born session drummer and educator with a career spanning decades. With a new EP released in May 2025 and another on the way this fall, The Resurrection Blues Band brings gritty, road-tested blues rock to the stage with passion and precision.

Enjoy tasty offerings from local food trucks Evelyn Mae’s BBQ and Nola Roux, plus charcuterie-style snacks, and farm market favorites. Lemon Creek’s full beverage menu will be available, including wine flights, glasses, bottles, ciders, and slushies.
Event Details:
🎟️ Admission: $10 per person (21+). Guests under 21 are free when accompanied by an adult.
🪑 What to Bring: Lawn chairs, blankets, and snacks (no coolers). Outdoor seating also available.
🐾 Important Note: No outside alcohol or dogs permitted. Alcohol brought onto the premises will be confiscated or guests may be asked to leave without refund.
🌦️ Rain or Shine: The event will proceed unless severe weather forces cancellation.
🎁 Admission includes parking, wristband for re-entry, and a souvenir wine glass.
