If you’ve spotted Spectrum Health Lakeland’s marketing guru Megan Yore in recent days, you’ve probably seen her beaming with pride, and understandably so. After substantially upgrading their web presence through creation of a “content efficient filmstrip-style layout,” Spectrum Health Lakeland has emerged as the winner of the 2020 Progress Sitefinity Website of the Year Award for Health Care.
Since its inception nine years ago in 2011, those awards recognize websites powered by Progress Sitefinity for their excellence in user experience and their innovation in applying Sitefinity’s various features and capabilities.
The Lakeland website was designed with a focus on providing users with a more personalized health care experience. Webmasters describe the site’s look and feel as among the first of its kind for the health care industry, utilizing a more content efficient “filmstrip” style layout with inspiration taken from other popular sites such as Netflix. Other key features of the site include an interactive Find a Doctor tool, an extensive health and wellness library, and seamless translation to more than 100 different languages.
Megan Yore, who serves as Chief Marketing & Communications Officer for Spectrum Health Lakeland, admits, “We are thrilled to be recognized with this honor, which reflects the work of our entire Lakeland Marketing & Communications team.” She adds, “Working with our valued partners at Enqbator, we are able to imagine the possibilities and then develop within Sitefinity to create a modern, personalized website experience for our patients.”
Lakeland implemented the new website in partnership with Enqbator, a web development firm based in Troy, Michigan, where President and CEO, Sujal Raju says, “We’re extremely proud of our partnership with Spectrum Health Lakeland,” noting, “Their team motivates us to work harder and more creatively in order to help the end user get the most out of their website experience.”
