The Van Buren County Road Commission will implement full Seasonal Weight Restrictions starting at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, February 22 for all roads under its jurisdiction, except for county all-season roads. The road commission says vehicles determined to be over the weight limit could result in tickets. Extra attention will be given to all trucks with droppable axles to ensure the axles are lowered. Any truck found with its axle in the raised position on a restricted road will be stopped and weighed.
