Niles Truck Driver May Have Been Killed By His Own Semi

A bizarre turn of events this morning for a Niles semi driver when his own truck may have run over him at a loading dock for Paragon Tempered Glass in Niles, killing him.

Niles Police say they took a 911 call at around 5:15 this morning reporting that a man had been run over by a semi at the plant located at 1830 Terminal Road in the city. First responders on the scene found 64 year old Dennis Kobb of Niles had been the victim of the incident.

Kobb had been in the process of moving an empty trailer from the loading dock at Paragon and it appears he may have fallen from the cab of the truck and got caught under the rear drive tires of the semi-tractor, killing him instantly. The incident remains under investigation by the Niles Police.
