Harding’s Friendly Markets is expanding with four new locations around west Michigan, including stores coming to Decatur and Gobles.

Harding’s says it’s acquired four Village Market locations to make the move possible. It’ll be rebranding the Village Markets as Harding’s.

The other two locations are in Colon and Allegan.

Harding’s Friendly Markets President Curt DeVries says the company is “thrilled” to welcome the four Village Markets into the Harding’s family.

Harding’s has operated since 1944. According to its website, with these new acquisitions, there will be 30 Harding’s locations in Michigan and two in Indiana.
