A longtime local business is changing hands. The Rental Branch on Niles Road in St. Joseph supplies a wide range of construction and maintenance equipment to businesses and homeowners. The Rental Branch has been in operation for nearly 30 years, first opened by Mike Branch and since 2015 owned by Patrick and Connie Peruchietti, who are said to be retiring.
Calder Capital–a business planning and merger-acquisition firm from Grand Rapids announced the sale, however did not reveal the buyer.
MOTM spoke with a Rental Branch employee who said the store is now owned by Bill Marting from the Grand Rapids area. However, Marting was not available for comment, and the employee said no contact information is available.
